Billionaire philanthropist Bill Gates, Alibaba founder Jack Ma, and Hong Kong's richest man Li Ka-Shing have collectively pledged over $100 billion to Coronavirus Relief Fund to help alleviate the coronavirus outbreak and GlobalGiving's Disaster Recovery Network is donating from the fund to 1million individuals worldwide with the sum of $1,000,000 each. The fund is for the entire family of the beneficiary.
GlobalGiving's Disaster Recovery Network is working together with Lloyds Bank in United Kingdom to also provides basic hygiene needs in sufficient quantities to enable the most vulnerable populations to self isolate to minimize risk of contracting this deadly virus. We provide internally displaced people with food, water, blankets, diapers and other baby supplies, hygiene necessities for the elderly and other necessities that have been limited due to COVID-19.
