Dear
My name is John Kent Esq; I am a partner at John Kent Solicitors, UK.
You may be surprised to receive this letter from me as there has been no previous correspondence. There is an unclaimed “perpetual life insurance policy” from our late client.
The transaction concerns an unclaimed Payable-on-Death ("POD") savings deposit of thirteen Million, Thirty Thousand British pounds (£13,030,000) with a reputable bank. The policyholder was one of our clients, Mr. Alan, who worked for the Energy Company in the UK. He died in an accident in Newcastle UK over nine years ago. No one has contacted him since his death, and all our efforts to locate his relatives have been unsuccessful.
Insurance company regulations state that "permanently insured policies" that are not claimed must be turned over to the 10-year discontinued assets department.
Therefore I am asking for your consent to cooperate with me in claiming this insurance benefit as you have the same surname and nationality as the deceased. If you allow me to add your name to the policy, all proceeds will be processed on your behalf. I would like to point out that I would like 10% of this money to be shared between charities, while the remaining 90% is to be shared between us.
This is 100% risk-free; I have all the necessary documentation to expedite the process in the most professional and confidential manner. I will provide all relevant documents to substantiate your claim as a beneficiary. This claim requires a high level of confidentiality and may take up to thirty (30) business days from the date of receipt of your consent. Please provide a contactable phone number for faster communication.
I will provide more information as soon as I get a reply from you.
Regards,
John Kent Esq
