Good afternoon...
Now I look forward to your letters every day
and want to read them as soon as possible.
Because I have no one left after this war in Ukraine
and I am pleased that I met you.
I certainly don't want to think that my parents
are dead or missing. I look at the lists of the dead every day
and until I see their names, I believe that they are alive
and are also looking for me somewhere.
I hope that they were also able to get out and leave Ukraine
and we will be able to meet them someday.
I can only wait and hope for the best.
Today I agreed that in the evenings I would help prepare dinner
and clean the dining room, then they would allow me to use the computer
a little longer so that I could look for my parents
and of course write you my letter.
I haven't told anyone that I'm texting you and while
I probably don't want anyone to know about you,
but I think about you all the time and try to do something useful
all day to help refugees. So time goes faster and
when I'm next to the computer, I feel much better,
I stop thinking about the bad and think only about you.
Let me tell you a little about where I am now.
We flew to the city of Astana, then we traveled about 3 hours by bus.
If I knew the area, I could describe in more detail.
Here the weather is moderate,
but sometimes it rains and it’s cool in the evenings and you have
to sleep in clothes under a blanket, because nothing is heated.
I hope that this nightmare will end soon and
I will be able to find a job and rent some room for myself or a hostel.

We are not allowed to go far from the camp, and I myself would not go.
I went shopping a little last weekend,
everyone looks at me so strangely, with disgust,
probably because I have old clothes in which I fled from Ukraine,
now I cannot afford to buy something new from clothes. But I'm already used
to it and it's good that at least I have somewhere to wash it.
Now I need to clean up and then we all
together we will watch TV and news about Ukraine.
By the way, I found a flash drive in my old things
and I can send you some of my photos. I will try to write to you tomorrow.

Hi how are you?
I am very glad that you wrote to me again.
Yesterday I couldn't sleep, I was afraid that something bad might happen,
the men in the camp drank a lot of alcohol and it's good
that they sleep in another tent a little further from us.
They started yelling at each other and fighting,
and it seemed like they even took someone to the hospital.
Then a few hours after all this, I still managed to fall asleep,
but I slept very badly and today I feel tired. I had to get up at 7 am today
to do the cleaning and lay the tables for breakfast.
Everything else is fine, don't worry. At night, when I couldn't sleep,
I lay in bed and thought a lot. I would very much like to leave here
to another place, to a more peaceful and safe place.
There are a lot of bad people here and I don't feel safe.
I am very afraid that they can r*pe or cause other harm here,
because almost no one is guarding us. I heard that a few days ago,
several girls were r*ped here, but everyone is silent about it.
There are a lot of strange and aggressive people here.
We were told that we could be transferred to another city and it would
be even worse there. I am very worried now, but I try not to think about it.
I sincerely hope that I can come up with something and escape from here,
but right now I have absolutely nothing. Tell me how your day is going

Hello my dear!
I have news for you today. Last night I spoke with my curator,
who is in charge of me at the camp. She told me that I can go
to any place without any problems and also use my passport
without any obstacles, I now have refugee status.
I received refugee status when I was taken outside Ukraine.
Initially, they wanted to send
us to Germany or Belgium, but there were no free places
at that time, in the end, then everything changed
and we stayed in Kazakhstan. In order for me to be able to come to you,
I need your full address, a telephone number to which
I can call you at any time. Also the nearest bus station,
railway station and airport. I was told that I would have
to pay my own way to you. The refugee allowance
that we are given is not enough even for normal food
and we are trying to get something for free from volunteers.
Of course, without a phone and a navigator,
It will be very difficult for me to move alone.
I am very much afraid to leave here now,
but here everything reminds me of the war.
I also feel completely defenseless. I am madly worried
about my parents as well and constantly experience a lot of stress.
Please write me all the exact data that I asked you
and I will try to fully know the whole route how to get
to you and of course I will find out how much it will cost.

and found out all the information on how I can come to you.
I have great news. We will be able to reimburse
all the money spent and even receive benefits.
I will need to buy my tickets myself and keep all receipts.

I will have to provide all the documents,
