Dear Good Friend,

I am in receipt of your email, thank you very much for your response.

During my station in UAE as the Head of our Investment and Business
Department there I had the privilege of meeting some high profile
personalities most of whom are public servants/politicians from every
part of the globe.

Now I have a client with a cash deposit of 58 million US dollars and
he has asked me to help him secure the fund overseas. The gentleman in
question is a public servant and as such he does not want to enter
into business partnership with anyone directly instead he has asked me
to help him secure the funds abroad hence the need to contact you for
this transaction.

For the record, my client does not care how or where the fund is
invested. What he cares most is the safety of his fund and the ability
to return the fund to him when he needs it. Therefore it does not
matter were you invest the fund for as long as the profit margin is
attractive and the fund can be returned when he needs it.

In accordance with my agreement with the owner of the fund you can
keep the fund for up to 5 years or more. But if you want to keep the
fund for more than 5 years then we will need to know for how long
exactly you intend to keep it. And before we proceed with the
transaction we will need to draft a Memorandum of Understanding or
Investment Partnership Agreement to be signed by both parties.

I have the authority to represent my client in this transaction on my
personal capacity and I will sign the MoU on his behalf but because of
my job and the fact that my client is a public servant it is necessary
to keep this transaction confidential. It is my intention to move very
fast and conclude this transaction within a week or at most two weeks
once the Memorandum of Understanding is signed.

If not for COVID-19 pandemic I would have suggested we meet in Madrid
to sign the MoU and get the chance to meet each other in person before
we proceed with the transaction. But given the situation I would like
to know if it will be possible for you to visit Madrid, London or
Dubai at this time or maybe we should sign the MoU over the internet.

The owner of the fund might want to have a conversation with you at
some point, but in the meantime we will proceed without him as he
directed. Thirdly, I have agreed with the owner of the fund that you
will be entitled to 20% of the total sum for your help and assistance.
In addition to that I would like to know what the return on the
investment would be, please explain your investment plan.

I will be expecting your return email as soon as possible.

Best regards,
Mrs. Ines Montero
