Attn: The President/CEO

Compliment of the season.

I got your details from an online directory and having gone through your profile, I decided to approach you for a possible partnership in a multi-million dollar project.

My name is Chief Zorro Joe, I am an Accountant with Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) and I am in an agreement with my Auditor-General in this transaction. I write to inform you of my good intention to transfer some amount of money into your bank account for investment in your country.

We are members of the committee set up by the President to scrutinize all records and accounts of awarded and executed contracts of this company between 2016 to 2019 and we have carefully uncovered an over invoiced contract sum of US$140million (One Hundred and Forty Million United State Dollars) which we have decided to transfer into a foreign bank account by projecting the account owner as one of our contractors.

This money was approved for payment by this company through the Federal Ministry of Finance (endorsed by the Accountant General of the Federation) and to be paid by the Apex Bank of Nigeria under Contract Number: NNPC/FMF/CBN/B10/18. As top civil servants, we are not authorized to operate foreign bank accounts hence our decision to use your foreign bank account in full trust and confidence to transfer this money outside Nigeria.

We have accepted you as our foreign partner. Moreover, it is pertinent to note that it is not risky and does not require much engagement since we have taken care of the deal in full capacity. We are ready to compensate you adequately for your assistance.

Please reply without delay for details and modalities of this noble business transaction. Remember to give me your phone and fax line through which to send you the approved documents for your perusal.

I am anxiously waiting for your response with hope that you understand the confidential nature of this transaction.

Regards,

Chief Zorro Joe.
