THE SUPREME COURT OF JUSTICE REFUNDED PARLIAMENT
From the Desk of the Honorable Nels S.D. Peterson
Supreme Court of Georgia
Georgia, United States
2025
Dear Beneficiary,
I am notifying you that employees of Zion Bank, Atlanta, Georgia, recently visited my office with an envelope containing copies of documents pertaining to your compensation case. They informed me that you had waived your compensation fund of eight million five hundred thousand dollars ($8.5 million).
The purpose of their visit was to seek my support and obtain my signature on the documents, thereby authorising the transfer of your compensation fund to the government's treasury account on the basis that you no longer wished to receive it. However, in view of my judicial experience, I refused to sign the documents until I received further clarification from you.
However, on humanitarian grounds and sympathetic to your situation, I immediately contacted the Honourable John G. Roberts, Jr, Chief Justice of the United States Supreme Court, and explained to him the circumstances surrounding your payment. Following our discussion, he personally contacted Mr Ryan Pollihan, Regional Manager of Zion Bank, who agreed to reduce the amount of the required payment from $450 to $180. This adjustment was made to make it easier for you to pay the fee required to obtain a tax clearance certificate and sign the document, thereby ensuring that the funds can be transferred to your bank account without further delay.
Note: The award amount of US$8.5 million (eight million five hundred thousand United States dollars) has been approved as of 25 January 2024. Your details were selected through a formal review process identifying the recipients of this compensation.
The only administrative requirement prior to payment is the settlement of an application processing fee of $180 (one hundred and eighty dollars), which covers tax processing and certification costs. Once this step has been completed, no additional fees will be required, and the funds will be transferred directly into your account.
To this end, I wish to inform you that all fees and charges have been reduced to a payment of $180 (one hundred and eighty dollars). This adjustment has been made in order to make the process more affordable for you and to allow for the procurement of your Tax Clearance Certificate in your name. The certificate is necessary to facilitate the immediate transfer of your US$8.5 million (eight million five hundred thousand United States dollars) into your bank account.
Please be advised that the required payment must be completed within the next five business days in order for us to clear, release, and finalise the transfer of your funds. I wish to emphasise that no further payments will be requested beyond this amount.
Thanks, and God bless.
Best Regards,
Honourable Nels S.D. Peterson
