Sir/ Madam,
I am Mr John Palmer. a computer scientist with Central Bank of
Nigeria. I am 32 years old, a British citizen just started work last
year with Central Bank of Nigeria , I came across your file which was
marked X and your released disk painted RED, I took time to study it
and found out that you have paid VIRTUALLY all fees and certificates
but the fund has not been released to you.
The most annoying thing is that they cannot tell you the truth that on
no account will they ever release the fund to you having the X and RED
painted on it by the bank directors and executives on there discovery
that the fund is from a forged inflated contract. Some, Inherited
funds that are not officially processed from genuinely appropriate
offices.
This is from my investigation why you have paid huge amount on all
documents required from you to have your fund transferred and yet it
was not done. Having discovered this the bank officials capitalized on
that to extort money from you .
Please this is like a Mafia setting in Nigeria; you may not understand
it because you are not a Nigerian. The only thing I will need to help
you release this fund is your purchase of special HARD DISK we call it
HD120 GIG. You will buy two of it with my help and i recopy your
information and load your fund , destroy the previous one, and punch
the computer to reflect in your bank with the fund within 24 hours . I
will clean up the tracer and destroy your file, after which I will run
away from Nigeria to meet with you in your country for my share which
is%60/40 of the fund. 60% will go to you will %40 of the fund will go
for me.
Note: For security reasons all our communication will be only through
mail until iam out of Nigeria after everything is successful . If you
are interested do get in touch with me immediately for further
discussion on this. .
Regards,
Mr John Palmer.

Following is an email that this scammer sent to another scammer. It is written in the Nigerian Igbo Pidgin English language and/or a style/dialect of English typically used by Nigerian scammers. Thus, it is very likely that this scammer is a Nigerian person:
