Hello,
Thanks for your response and I would just go straight to the point. In September 2004, I had a Settlement Case between 2 clients whereby a very huge amount of money was owed by one to the other.
We all worked together as the case remained and finally got to a position whereby the Defendant agreed to pay the Plaintiff early this year. As of the time agreed, the Plaintiff passed away on a very brief and sudden illness, may his soul rest in peace. Unfortunately, the Plaintiff doesn't have any existing relative or business partner who can receive the funds.
The reason why I contact you is to work with me such that we would make you receive the funds from the Defendant as the sole survivor of the Plaintiff. For this, you do not need to share same last name with the Plaintiff. All we would need do is to provide paperwork from my law firm and ensure the funds in question are paid to you. Its possible for me to get a close friend or associate to handle this but I've decided to use a neutral individual to ensure that this remains as transparent as it can ever be before other partners in our Chambers, The Paying Bank, The Defendant, The Judiciary and even my family members and amongst my friends/colleagues.
You understand further that for this to happen, we do require absolute confidentiality. We must stick to email communication only for now but at some point if your presence is required anywhere, do not hesitate to show up. Your entire interest and protection is legally guaranteed. All legal documents relating to executing this successfully would be made available to you. My final proposal to you is that after the money is received by you, we would make it a 50/50 split.
Kindly contact me for further information.

Dear
Thank you for your attention to this matter. I do not expect much time
to be wasted on this. Like mentioned, the parties involved had
concluded payment arrangements before the Plaintiff's sudden demise.
All we need to do now is to prepare documents from my chambers to be
sent to the Defendant and letting her know that you are the authorised
beneficiary of the late Plaintiff. On getting the document mentioned,
she would proceed with payment to your account.
Another thing to note is that the amount in question is Three Million,
Eight Hundred and Sixty Seven Thousand, Four Hundred US Dollars
($3,867,400.00) and the Settlement Agreement in respect of the
the mentioned amount made between the Defendant and the late Plaintiff
would be made available to you in my next email.
Neither the Defendant nor her attorney can verify anything otherwise.
Our Chambers have been the Plaintiff's personal Attorneys for a very
long time so whatever document we produce would be considered
authentic anywhere here in Ohio or anywhere else in the world. To be
able to produce necessary documents for this, we need the following:
Your Full Name:
Residential Address:
Occupation:
Your Business Name (if any):
Business Address (if any):
Contact Number:
Be advised that information being asked would be necessary to produce
relevant documents. When documents are ready, you will be sent scanned
original copies. I want to ensure that everything is done to
perfection to ensure transparency.
The earlier we get information required, the better, as it will make
our work faster. Also note that you and I must have a side agreement
that I would receive my 50% cut after money gets to you. You know that
I can't exercise any further control after you receive funds.
Therefore apart from side agreement between you and I, I would plead
for your undiluted honesty in this matter.
I do await your kind response.
