Over time, I made new friends here in Nikolaev, but I didn't feel like I belonged here.
At first, it was very difficult for me to settle in Nikolaev. In any place some person could appear who called me a refugee and rudely communicated with me. Fortunately, most of the people here are very friendly, which can not be said about the Ukraine government. Since the conflict in Donetsk, not one of the presidents has signed a decree on payments to victims of military operations. My parents still can't get compensation for the ruined life, for the destroyed house, for the loss of a good job. It was probably the most difficult for them to adapt after moving and such large-scale losses. I also had to work at several jobs at first, but a year later, I was able to get a job as a fitness trainer with a decent salary as I want. My father has always brought up a strong character in me and will always be an example of courage and perseverance for me.
In 2016 despite the risk not returning, my father tried to return to Donetsk to try to sell our house and land, but he was not even allowed to cross the border, which did not exist even 7 years ago. As a result, we lost all the property that we had in Donetsk. Now I rent an apartment in Nikolaev, and I prefer to live separately from my grandmother and parents. Of course, I often visit them, but I like to lead an independent life, and have a separate apartment.
I hope I haven't tired you with telling you about me yet. I talk a lot about myself, but how do I still give you an idea of who I am in real life? I divorced 7 years ago. Honestly, I do not give pleasure to remember the past and I try to live thinking about the future. I am looking for a person who could lead a normal life and live a life full of love and understanding. I want ordinary female happiness. Life with a person who will take my work calmly and will always be happy to spend their free time together.
