Dear,
Good Day to you and thank you for your response. I am in receipt of your email and am sending you this mail so that you can have a better understanding of what is involved and expected of you. The deceased had a financial portfolio with a principal sum of $18million and had accumulated an interest of about $4.4million amounting to Twenty Two Million Four Hundred Thousand United States Dollars ($22,400.000.00). I have contacted you to work with me so that I can put you in a position to receive the funds for both of us as the next of kin to my late client Mr. Richard Gelb.
I would respectfully request that you keep the contents of this Mail confidential and respect the integrity of the information you come by as a result of this mail. I contacted you independently of our investigation and no one is informed of this communication. I am willing to share the funds on a 45%/45% basis with you as long as you can assure me that you are a reliable and trustworthy individual and the balance 10% we will use to cover our expenses. More so, I am sure that you realize that by virtue of the nature of this project as well as my sensitive position here in my bank, you have to treat this matter with the utmost confidentiality it rightly deserves.
Furthermore, you have to bear in mind that this venture will be actualized in a short while if you diligently follow my advice and instructions as I am willing to utilize my position here at the bank to the maximum to facilitate a hitch free transfer of the funds into your nominated account for us both. Also, we shall take the necessary steps that will give this transaction the necessary legal backing and authenticity so you should not entertain any fears. Private banking clients apart from not nominating next of kin also usually in most cases leave wills in our care, in this case the deceased died without a testament.
In line with our internal processes for account holders who have passed away, we instituted our own investigations in good faith to determine who should have the right to claim the estate. This investigation has for the past months been unfruitful; every effort was to no avail. My official capacity dictates that I am the only party to supervise the investigation and the only party to receive the results of the investigation. Also, we shall take the necessary steps that will give this transaction the necessary legal backing and authenticity so you should not entertain any fears.
An attorney will be employed for this purpose. I will need your full names, address and phone number(s). Your full name and address will be sent to the attorney to prepare the necessary documents and Affidavits that will put you in place as the next of kin. Find attached to this email a copy of certificate of deposit for your perusal also. I will want to go into any investments that you will advise in your country. Please, I would like you to tell me more about yourself and what you do for a living. I do not find it against good conscience, this may be hard for you to understand, but the dynamics of my industry dictates that I make this move. Such opportunities only come one's way once in a lifetime. I cannot let this chance pass me by, for once I find myself in total control of my destiny.
These chances won? pass me by. I ask that you do not destroy my chance, if you will not work with me let me know and let me move on with my life but do not destroy me. I am a family man and this is an opportunity to provide them with new opportunities. There is a reward for this project and it is a task well worth undertaking. I have evaluated the risks and the only risk I have here is from you refusing to work with me and alerting My bank. I am the only one who knows of this situation. I wish to inform you that you should contact me via official channels; I will deny knowing you and about this project. I repeat, I do not want you contacting me through my official phone lines nor do I want you contacting me through my official email account. Contact me only through this email address. Please observe this instruction favorably. Please observe Utmost confidentiality, and be rest assured that this transaction would be most profitable for both of us. Please attach this email certificate of deposit. I urgently await your response.
