Dear

It may surprise you receiving this letter from me, since there was no previous correspondence between us. I am Liza Zhang. For a start let me introduce myself, working as (General Manager Internal Audit) in BANK.

I am contacting you purely based on the fact that your name tallies with the deceased client, not that he is a relative of yours, who passed away in 2002 leaving behind a sum of money.

The holding bank has issued a notice to contact the next of kin of the deceased or the account will be declared serviceable and the fund diverted to the bank treasury. So far all my effort to get hold of someone related to him has proved abortive. Hence, I have contacted you, to help me distribute the funding in your account.

I found out this during the course of our internal audit, I have tried to reach any of the next trustees, but to no avail and since I am not in position to make the claim, I can establish you before the bank as the heir to the bequest. So that proceeds of this account can be paid to you. Then we can share the fund on a mutually agreed-upon percentage of 60% to me and 40% to your kind self. All the legal documentations to back up your claims shall be provided upon request.

All I require is your honest cooperation to enable us achieve this opportunity. If this business proposition offends you, do accept my sincere apology. If on the contrary you wish to achieve this goal with me, kindly get back to me.

Kindest Regards.

Liza Zhang
