subject: Re: My Proposal

I wish to acknowledge the receipt of your response to my letter, I appreciate your reply and that shows you are ready to work with me but if after reading and understanding the content of my proposal below and you feel you are not interested all you have to do is ignore the letter and delete it. One thing I want to assure you is that this deal is 100% risk free and it will benefit both of us greatly.
HERE IS THE FULL CONTENT OF THE DEAL.
Like I told you, I work with Exxon Mobil Oil Company and I am the director in charge of oil servicing contracts. All Oil servicing contracts pass through my desk before approval and payment, In ExxonMobil we have different departments being headed by different directors and in my department I am the head.
In 2015 we awarded an oil servicing contract to a contractor and this particular contractor I was his guarantor because only me knows him personally, the worth of this contract is $85,000,000.00 (Eighty Five Million US Dollars) and is an oil servicing contract for five years period which starts from 2015 and ends in 2020. The contract payment is being paid instalmentally as the service goes on and so far a total of $65,000,000.00 has been paid for the contract leaving a balance of $20,000,000.00 to be paid which the payment is due to be paid this Month.
I am the only one who knows this contractor very well and since his contract balance payment is due the company brought his payment file for final approval and release of funds and I was asked to contact the contractor to forward or reconfirm his receiving bank details. All my effort to reach out to the contractor since 2nd of this month did not work because his cell phone and home phone numbers have been switched off and he has not returned all my letters both emails and mailed letters to his home. since I could not reach him I had to send a delegate to his home and the news my delegate came back with was so shocking.
I was informed that the contractor's son got infected with Coronavirus (Covid-19) and came back home unknowingly he infected the entire family with it, The contractor, his wife and his only son died of covid-19. I was not happy about this development and I have not informed our company about this. I have been thinking so deeply since then and after much thought I decided that I have to find a reliable person to partner with so that we can receive the $20,000,000.00. The company will notice if I present an account of any one that is related to me so that is why I have to look for someone that I have not met before which is the reason why I contacted you.
Like I said, I am the only one in this company who knows about the contractor and I was his Guarantor so any account I present to the company it will be approved for payment without any issues arising. If the company top officials know about the death of the contractor they will also divert the money for their own personal use, so this is a golden opportunity for me and you if you accept to partner with me.
If you accept to partner with me in this all I need to do is to approve the payment from my department with your receiving account details attached to the payment approval letter and it will be submitted to the company paying bank for processing and transfer and that is just simple and we will have the money in our hands.
When the money is transferred to you, we shall share it 50/50 percent, this means you will take $10,000,000.00 and I will take $10,000,000.00.
This is an opportunity that comes once in a lifetime and as wise people we have to grab the opportunity with both hands. But in case you are not interested in this deal kindly delete the letter and do not disclose it to any one.
Get back to me if you are interested to partner with me so that we can move forward because the payment is due this month.
Regards
Mr. Mark John
