Welcome to our community. We are a group of online volunteers working closely together to fight cybercrime. We created this website as an informational archive containing a growing number of scam emails, which are collected and added to the site daily. Our goal is to provide free information about these scams to everyone. We also aim to raise public awareness of internet fraud, warn people about the risks and dangers of online scams, and help prevent individuals from falling victim to cybercrimes. Our ultimate goal is to significantly reduce the tragic number of scams that occur on the internet every day.
A myriad of fraudulent scam emails circulates across the internet daily. These letters were once commonly referred to as "Nigerian Prince Scams" because many were believed to originate in Nigeria. However, they have since evolved and continue to grow more elaborate and sophisticated. There are now so many different types of email scams that we have created over 20 categories just to keep them organized on the site. Internet scamming has become a global problem, with scam emails sent from many different countries, although many still originate in West Africa.
All scam emails added to this site are contributed by volunteers as a free public service. It is a labor-intensive effort, and the emails are organized into categories based on the nature of each scam’s approach. However, scam letters today often use two or three different tactics within a single email, making it more challenging to categorize each email perfectly. We do our best, but you may notice that some emails could reasonably fall under more than one category.
Please note that nearly all of the scam emails posted on this website involve a type of fraudulent criminal practice known as “Advance Fee Fraud,” also referred to as “419 Scams.” If you are not familiar with these terms, the following Wikipedia article can help you better understand how most of these scams operate: Wikipedia Link.

Thank you for your interest in our community. We hope you find the information on this website both useful and informative regarding the financial risks and dangers of responding to unsolicited emails.
If you ever receive suspicious emails from unknown senders that resemble any of the scams on this site, we strongly recommend that you do not reply to them for your own safety.
Best wishes
