Husky Energy was a Canadian integrated energy company that was involved in hydrocarbon exploration, development, and production, as well as refining and marketing. It had operations in Western Canada, offshore Atlantic Canada, and the Asia Pacific region. The company's core businesses were upstream (exploration and production) and downstream (refining and marketing) before Li Ka-shing's the rightful owner of Husky Energy Inc sold it to Cenovus Energy Inc because of mis-management of company funds.
Husky Energy was sold to Cenovus Energy Inc on the January 1, 2021, which the management of Husky Energy Inc, led by Mr. Robert J. Peabody President, CEO & Director, Husky Energy Inc requested one (1) years to settle their local and foreign contractors and the Cenovus Energy Inc gave him three (3) years to properly settle his company debtors, now is time for us to take over and rebrand all the branches and offices to Cenovus Energy Inc flying color’s but Mr. Robert J. Peabody President, CEO & Director, Husky Energy Inc is still requesting more six (6) months to finalize with their five remaining foreign contractors debtors which he presented the names and I decided to write you officially with full explanation declaring to you that after six (6) you didn’t receive your contract payment from Mr. Robert J. Peabody President, CEO & Director, Husky Energy Inc you can never receive it again because I Jon McKenzie President & CEO of Cenovus Energy Inc will cancel your debt file.
I will advise you to peacefully proceed and communicate with Mr. Robert J. Peabody and receive your contract payment from him before or by next six month or never.
