Hello

Thank you so much for responding to my letter—it made me truly happy to hear from you!

Just to remind you, my name is Alexandra, though you can simply call me Alexa.

I recently saw your email in my Junk mail folder. Could you please add me to your contacts, so my future letters reach you safely?

I live in Chisinau, the capital of Moldova. Have you heard of this place? It’s a small country that borders Ukraine.

As I’ve mentioned, I am a widow, and I have no children.

I was born on August 15, I’m 37, 171 cm tall, and weigh about 61 kg.

War brought chaos into my life.

My husband, who was everything to me, my love and my support, went to the front and never came back, leaving me alone in grief.

Shortly after, my father also died on the battlefield.

These losses devastated me, but they also made me stronger. I’ve learned to face sorrow and keep living.

Now, I wish for a life filled with joy, love, and peace.

At the moment, I am completely single.

I work as an office employee, and this job, though simple, gives me a sense of stability and helps me deal with the pain. I’ve been working there for about a year now.

I don’t drink or smoke. Staying healthy has become very important to me, especially when I face life on my own.

Although I studied accounting, I haven’t yet found a position in that field here in Chisinau. Perhaps I’ll share more with you about that later.

Do you have any questions for me? I’d love to get to know you better and hear more about your life. I think it could be a beautiful journey.

I’ve attached a few photos of myself.

Warm wishes,

Alexandra.

Hello again!

I respect your position and understand you completely. I am not looking for anything superficial or temporary either. I want a serious, conscious relationship where there is mutual respect, trust and a desire to go through life together.

Thank you for telling me a little about yourself. It is also important for me to know who is in front of me, especially if we are talking about the future. You give the impression of an adult, mature man who knows what he wants - and this inspires respect.

I hope that we can get to know each other better and understand whether there is that very real thing between us, which is rare. After all, such feelings are not built in one day - but if there is sincerity, everything is possible.

I wanted to share a little more about my life and what I’ve been through. As you know, I lost both my husband and father during the war. After those painful events, my mother and I made the decision to move to Moldova, which I’ve already mentioned to you. Once here, I focused on rebuilding my life. I found work and tried to leave behind the sadness that had weighed me down. And I truly believe it was the best path for me.

Now, I live alone in a small studio apartment that I rent. It’s cozy, and even though it’s not large, it feels just right for me. I’ll send you some photos soon, so you can see the space I call home.

I was married for five years, but since losing my husband, I haven’t entered into another relationship. I believe it’s finally time for me to open my heart again—to find someone who brings me joy, and to whom I can give my care and affection. Do you understand this feeling? I think a true, loving relationship could bring back something important in my life.

I never thought I’d turn to online dating, but my friend, who now lives in the U.S., encouraged me. She left Italy, found happiness abroad, and believes I should give myself the chance to find it too.

You are the first person I’ve met online with whom I feel a real connection. This is something new for me. Seeing my friends find love in this way has given me hope.

My mother is now 65. She has handled the loss of my father with great courage. She has someone in her life now, someone who makes her happy. And I couldn’t be more glad for her—she deserves happiness.

I try to stay healthy and active. I swim and take fitness classes a couple of times a week, which helps me feel good and stay in shape.

Tell me more about you—what brings you joy? I would love to know more about your life.

Sincerely,

Your Alexandra.
